Psalm 24 for 2024

Here we are another year is upon us!

We are fortunate to be also celebrating 5 years of business this month for our spa as well.

As we woke up in 2024 on January 1st I found myself looking for inspiration in the word of God, because that never leaves me disappointed. As I began asking the Lord where he would place me in scripture I began to just thank him for all he continues to do and provide for us. I also began to share my concerns and intentions for this year with him my heart became rapidly increased in rate and then there it was... as usual he said daughter you know this world and all the people belong to me, I see you and love you uniquely.

I have not forgotten you, your affliction or needs, I love you with an everlasting love.

You see he is The King of Glory! I am to praise him in advanced for what he is currently doing even if I can not see it yet. Look at the 5th verse... as I read it I was ready to run about the perimeter of my home like Jericho yelling for the walls to come a tumbling down, for the sake of waking my husband I just lifted my hands and thanked God for his provision right there at my dining room table. You see as children of the most high God we can rest knowing he is always in control- we are not! If we remain in him, he remains in us. Because apart from him we can do nothing. John 5:15 So as we end into this 9th day of 2024 already, I have spent a large portion of the day updating our website and adding new team members to our team area. We have new services and new providers coming into our space and that is exciting for both me and you. Because that means we're growing! I'll leave you with this thought, to whom much is given much is expected.

A Psalm of David.

24 The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,2 for he has founded it upon the seas    and established it upon the rivers.

3 Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart ,who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully.

5 He will receive blessing from the Lord

and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,

who seek the face of the God of Jacob.

Lift up your heads, O gates!

And be lifted up, O ancient doors,

that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is this King of glory?

The Lord, strong and mighty,

the Lord, mighty in battle!

10 Who is this King of glory?

The Lord of hosts,

he is the King of glory!
