I hope this summer has been filled with many memories and days to recall for years to come. Who is already planning their fall excursions? Over here in our little spa we are focused on creating a refuge for all to experience through our services, our products, retreats, fellowship and community.
We are adding a waxing specialist to our team in September.
Bringing in a new spa service with our Authentic Japanese Head Spa that is shipping right from China as I type it is at the U.S. port and will be shipping to us in 5 to 14 days!
My husband Johnny and I will celebrate 22 years of marriage Labor Day weekend.
Man I can not believe that wow! How special it is to be loved by one man for that long.
I am headed out to Branson September 7th-11th with my family from Joplin for a weekend to see Esther play at the Sight & Sound Theater.
When I return from travel I will begin doing the pre-booked appointments for the head spa after it is set up. We are looking into adding a few handmade bath products for holiday shopping. As we already have Salt & Light Skincare - Soaps in spa since May.

Then in October a Women's retreat is in store...
Back in 2020- yes during the pandemic! You see the owner of Adonai Spa Kimberly started up really our of selfish ambition to travel with girlfriends to a small town in Oklahoma and getaway for a weekend because she was missing them. She booked a cabin in Durant, Ok. and planned it and away they went for a fall retreat in the leaves in a old farmhouse cabin. It was so lovely that it has become a regular activity now in spring and fall. Last spring in 2023 she went with a group of 11 to Eufaula Ok. and stayed in a cabin there and the Lord showed up in a rainbow on the last night there. From that moment she knew these retreats were to become a ministry and outreach to Gods kids and Promise Keeper Retreats was born. On this site you will eventually see a tab for the info on the upcoming retreats and how you can go on one.
We just wanted to share with you how the Lord takes something you love and uses it to foster development in others if you will let it. So here is to fall and crisp air, bonfires, boots, scarves and PSL everything am I right? This fall the retreat will be in Eufaula Ok. again at Carlton Landing and we do have 1 to 2 more spaces available for a woman who would want to join us!
